I have a Sharp XV-120ZU LC projector. It has an internal fuse that, when replaced, only continues blowing immediately as the power button is pushed. Q: Would you have any suggestions as to why the fuse keeps blowing? The fuses I used were exactly what was called for. I'm stumped and completely frustrated. Please help.

A: Fuses are installed for protection. The fact that the fuse blew and continues to blow when replaced likely means that something is wrong with the unit and it is just protecting itself. My suggestion would be not to try replacing the fuse again because it's probably just going to blow; instead, take the projector to a qualified technician, or at least the store from which you bought it, to investigate what's wrong with it.
