August 22, 2005 Like many music lovers, I am sure, I have collected a number of CDs that I no longer listen to. There are a few places near me that buy used CDs, but they offer only a dollar or two for each. Q: Do you know of any online companies that buy used CDs and offer a reasonable amount? Jason Wright A: There are two that I've used with good success: Music for a Song and Second Spin. I sell to Music for a Song when I also want to buy other titles -- their prices are very low, and they sell both new and used CDs. If you sell enough to them, they will pay for shipping as well. Second Spin will buy more titles but sells only used CDs, so I generally sell them a full box at a time instead of a few titles here and there in order to save on shipping. You can also sell CDs on eBay, but you might find that the effort required to list each title is not worth what you get for it in the end. Marc Mickelson
