 Bright Star Audio Creates Platform for Gallo Reference 3 Speakers
The Gallo Acoustics Reference 3 is an innovative speaker design that features the company's patented drivers. Bright Star Audio, makers of the well-known Big Rock and Little Rock anti-vibration products, has created speaker stands specifically for the Reference 3 that are said to "increase the performance capabilities" of the speakers. The IsoRock GR3 is made of over 30 layers of different materials and raises the speakers off the floor, reportedly increasing imaging and soundstaging capabilities. The central chamber of the IsoRock GR3 can be filled with sand or lead shot to provide high mass and greater energy absorption. Custom-designed, machined locking pins couple the speakers to the stands. The IsoRock GR3 measures 8"H x 8"W x 14"D and weighs 50 pounds when filled with sand. A pair costs $399 and are recommend by Gallo Acoustics for use with the Reference 3 speakers.
